AIE Tech

AIE™ Technology is the melding of three (3) different technologies, combined together to product one desired effect—an Accelerated Inflammatory Effect (AIE). These three (3) technologies are:

1. Dual Propellant System (DPS™):

Two (2) non-flammable propellants that are safe, environmentally friendly, and contain no VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds). The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has already approved the primary propellant for use in pharmaceutical applications.

2. Unique Delivery System:

Our delivery system is exceedingly unique in that is the very first of its kind to be designed and built from beginning to end as a “matched set” in order to deliver a very specific end result. In essence, our sprays can deliver up to 300% more active ingredient per one second burst than the other competitive brands.

3. 3. Proprietary Formulations:

Our formulations are comprised of elements that enhance and accelerate the effects of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC). All of the elements are Non-Carcinogenic; contain NO Methylene Chloride and NO Isopropyl Alcohol that could cause corneal burns. In the case of our newest brand, American Defense™, we offer 3 different pungency levels to choose from.

Collectively, the three elements above create an Accelerated Inflammatory Effect on the exposed subject. This unique blend of ingredients, technology, and highly specialized mixing techniques gives users of our OC sprays a much more effective ASR than was ever available until now. While many elements of AIE™ Technology have already been incorporated into the four (4) other brands of ASRs (STROAM, BodyGuard Plus, BG-X and BG-V) manufactured by Reliapon Police Products, American Defense is the only brand that contains all three of these unique enhancements. This innovative, and groundbreaking new technology delivers the single most significant improvement in ASR performance in 25 years!

This entirely new category of ASR features a 100% natural active ingredient that facilitates the accelerated irritation, soreness, and the involuntary inflammation of the eye capillaries, oral, and nasal mucus membranes, causing American Defense™ to take its desired effect over 50% faster when compared to competitive brands with the same pungency.

When charged with the responsibility of developing a new “high performance” homeland defense ASR, Reliapon engineers conducted an examination of ASR components currently available for the purpose of identifying and developing new ASR technologies.

The requestor established that the new ASR fit into the carrier of the US Military Law Enforcement Ensemble (LEE) and, meet the following performance
characteristics:

     • Be non-flammable
     • Contain no known carcinogens or hazardous ingredients.
     • Contain no isopropyl alcohol that may cause corneal burns.
     • Cause an accelerated inflammatory effect of mucous membranes
        without jeopardizing physical safety.
     • Incorporate an FDA recognized propellant that facilitates constant
        internal canister pressure.
     • Be fully operable in climatic temperature ranges of 10°F–120°F.
     • Resist salt fog corrosion and operate after salt fog exposure.
     • Fire in the inverted position.
